Welcome to Frances Featherstone Fine Art. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of www.francesfeatherstone.co.uk and the purchase of any artwork or prints from this site. By browsing or purchasing from this website, you agree to these terms.

1. Intellectual Property & Copyright

  • The artist, Frances Featherstone, retains full copyright of all artwork, images, and text on this website.

  • Your purchase of a painting or print does not transfer any reproduction rights to you.

  • You may not copy, scan, modify, or resell digital or physical reproductions of the artwork without prior written consent.

2. Products and Descriptions

  • All original paintings and prints are described as accurately as possible.

  • Slight colour variations may occur due to different screen settings and digital photography.

  • Prints are produced on Museum Heritage 310gsm, with archival inks and are sold unframed.

3. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are listed in GBP £ .

  • We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice.

  • Payment must be made in full through our secure checkout using Squarespace Payments before any items are shipped.

4. Shipping and Delivery

  • Original artwork and prints are packaged securely and shipped from UK.

  • Prints and Books: Shipping fees are calculated automatically at checkout. Because our prints made to order, please allow 7 to 10 working days for despatch. Delivery times are in addition to this despatch period. Please allow up to 5 days for despatch of books unless I am on holiday. I f that is the case I will contact you to notify you of the delay.

  • Original Paintings: Shipping costs and transit insurance are the sole responsibility of the buyer and are not calculated at checkout. The artist is happy to help organise courier quotes and delivery arrangements upon request. Original paintings will not be released for shipment until all shipping fees are paid in full.

  • International Orders: For all international deliveries (paintings, prints, or books), the buyer is solely responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or local clearance fees.

  • Delays: We are not responsible for delivery delays caused by courier services, postal strikes, or customs clearance.

5. Returns, Refunds, and Damages

  • Original Paintings: Returns accepted within 14 days if returned in original condition at the buyer's expense.

  • Prints: Prints are made to order. Returns are only accepted if the item arrives damaged or defective.

  • Damaged Goods: If your order arrives damaged, you must contact us at info@francesfeatherstone.com within 48 hours of delivery with photographic proof of the damage to the packaging and the item.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • We provide this website and its content on an "as is" basis.

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Frances Featherstone is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or the purchase of any products.

7. Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
